Butane Torch, Pistol

Pistol Torch. Flame temp up to 2300 degrees Fahrenheit. Electronic ignition; Adjustable air intake regulator; Adjustable flame - concentrated or bushy; Pistol-type trigger ignition; Push and twist to attach to butane gas cylinder (butane must have bayonet male fitting with notched out collar). This product is torch only. You must purchase the butane elsewhere as we cannot ship it. You can find the butane canister at a local sporting goods store such as Bass Pro Shops, Cabelas, Costco, Asian food markets and some Sam's Clubs.

    I love this torch head the best!

    I took an enamel basic class from KIEU at Shipwreck Beads in Olympia Wa. I was so impressed with this torch particularly in the enameling as I can make adjustments with thickness of metals, layers of enamels, soldering etc by switching between my creme brûlée, Big Shot and this pistol torch. The pistol torch makes such beautiful crackle and you have great control over outcome in torching to the degree you can see as it changes whereas a kiln is closed and you have to open/close a door. You need higher heat (sometimes using two torches) with crackle enamel. I love that the gas is so much cheaper from the Asian market (about 1/3 cost of the Butane I purchase at Home Depot in my locale. This is an excellent torch and KIEU is the best teacher ever. Loved my class
