Materials kit: Enough materials for one ring (sterling silver stock, gold filled wire, pearl- choice of color, while supplies last.)

This class will be conducted via Zoom. Registrants will be emailed an invitation to join the Zoom meeting 3 days before class and will be required to register with Zoom to gain access. Video will be available for 90 days after the first class and will be available on a private channel on YouTube.
Students are encouraged to work along with me.
Descriptions: Sometimes being a little “Off Balance” could be a good thing. Create a contemporary ring with a classic pearl. You will dabble in soldering gold-filled stock with sterling silver and solder a peg to keep the pearl in place.
Tools Needed:
• Flush cutters (ultra preferred)
• Flat nose pliers or parallel pliers
• Chain nose pliers
• Nylon nose pliers
• Needle files or Metal Student files
• Bench block
• Rawhide mallet
• Steel ring mandrel
• Solder pick (optional)
• Flex shaft, polishing compound, muslin wheel
• Chasing hammer (optional)
• Solder set up
• Silver solder paste
• Jewelers' saw & 2/o saw blades, cut lube
• Ruler
• Sharpie, fine tip
• Riveting hammer
• Center punch (self-tapping preffered)
• Horned anvil (optional but helpful)
